Part of the collection is oral histories collected by CREHST, both one-on-one and in group settings, the latter recorded public events the museum put on.  The collection also includes copyrighted material used for educational purposes. In addition, the collection contains material (oral histories, event programming, and educational material) from the Hanford Science Center, located in the Richland Federal Building, that closed down before the establishment of CREHST.
