Interested in visiting our archives in person?

Washington State University-Tri Cities in conjunction with Hanford Mission Integration Solutions (HMIS) hosts Department of Energy's "Hanford Collection".  The collections are currently in storage as we await construction of a new repository, scheduled to be completed in summer 2023.  In addition the Hanford History Project hosts collections from the former CREHST Museum, B Reactor Museum Association, Herbert M. Parker Foundation, and a number of individual donations.  We are able to accomodate researchers and any interested parties upon appointment.  Please Contact Us to set up a visit.

If you repesent a museum, historical society, or other cultural institution who is interested in borrowing Hanford-related artifacts, please get in touch using the Contact Us page. We are able to arrange loans on a case-by-case basis.

The Hanford Outreach Collection is available for use in interactive learning contexts or as comparative materials. These “hands-on” items can be borrowed for a variety of uses, such as training in artifact analysis, archival preservation, object conservation, safety, equipment use, and object-based learning. Please contact us if you are interested in utilizing items from the collection, and we can discuss loan terms and the holdings in greater detail.
